Paula
Schwartz brings more than a decade of investor relations experience
to Rx Communications.
Prior
to joining Rx Communications in January 2002, Paula was a
Partner at The Financial Relations Board (now FRB|Weber Shandwick),
considered the oldest and largest investor relations firm
in the U.S. While there, Paula counseled companies in both
the pre-IPO stage, as well as in the after-market. Over the
years, she led well over 50 consulting teams and spearheaded
IR programs for an international base of companies in a wide
range of industries including healthcare, specialty pharmaceuticals,
medical devices, biotechnology, REITs, and oil and gas, among
others.
Before
that, Paula served as a Vice President of investor relations
at ECOM Consultants in New York, where she provided strategic
counsel and support to client companies.
Paula began her career in investor relations KCS&A Public
Relations where she eventually served as Vice President/Director
of Investor Relations Programs.
Paula holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from The University
of Connecticut. She is the co-author of two children's books,
"A Leaf Named Bud," published by Rizzoli International Publications
and "All Year Round," from Scholastic Press.
